Learning from Millennials and Gen Z


Undergraduates at the Kenan-Flagler Business School (The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill) take a required course as well as electives in Management and Corporate Communication. Not only do the students learn to write effective business documents and improve their public speaking skills, but they also learn to identify situations where thoughtful communication could prevent or solve a business problem. Fall 2012 students wrote our first posts; they shared a variety of tips about how we can master the art of effective communication in business. Each year, a new crop of students share their insights.  Our most recent posts in Spring 2018 come from some of our 23 UNC undergraduates who traveled to Japan as a part of a Global Immersion dedicated to intercultural communication.
